Monadnock Region offers many trails and out of the way areas
that
can double for cross country skiing. You'll usually find snow
from December until March to play in. What you won't find are
long lines and crowded trails!
If you'd rather ski on
groomed trails, we have several facilities
that maintain their trails and rent equipment. You
can even take lessons. See below.

Windblown Cross Country

Since 1972, Windblown has been one of New England's premier cross
country ski centers. This full service area includes: 25 miles of
trails with state-of-the-art grooming, handcrafted base lodge with
restaurant, 150 sets of rental skis, lessons, shelters and beautiful
views.
