  Keene Jazz Orchestra concert
Swanzey - The Keene Jazz Orchestra with guest artists Jeff Galindo and Al Jobz will take you on a tour through classic American big band jazz including the music of, Tommy Dorsey, Count Basie, Woody Herman, Chick Corea, and Maria Schneider. The Orchestra encourages people of all ages to attend this concert for a rare opportunity to hear an authentic Big Band sound live as part of the Orchestra‚s mission is to keep alive the big band genre of American music.

John Wayne spends as much time fighting the battle of the sexes as brawling with the bad guys in this Western mystery. Hardheaded cowboy Rocklin (Wayne) arrives in town to discover that the rancher who sent for him has been murdered. In the wranglings to determine the rightful owner of the property and catch the killer, the chauvinistic Rocklin butts heads with the female kinfolk of the dead man, as well a comely but fiery neighbor (Ella Raines).
