Lisa appears regularly at the Nelson Monday contra dances and serves on the board of the Monadnock Folklore Society. Gordon Peery's piano playing is often described as not only 'orchestral,' but also 'wildly exciting.' Dr. Carey Bluhm of Fitzwilliam mixes southern and northern fiddling styles with equal aplomb. The dance opens with a new dancer orientation at 7:30 PM, and dancing begins at 8:00 PM. Beginners and singles are welcome and all dances are taught throughout the evening.
