Gauguin‚s epigram, "Life being what it is, one dreams of revenge," serves as the motto for this tale of two women whose lives are interwoven in ways neither of them yet understands. Anne of Green Gables
Peterborough - Dramatized by Joseph Robinette from the famous book by L.M. Montgomery This sparkling adaptation directed by Gus Kaikkonen tells the story of Anne Shirley, an independent, red-headed, frecklefaced girl who changes the lives and touches the hearts of all who come to know and love her. Whether you know the book or are meeting her for the first time, you‚ll love Anne of Green Gables. Suitable for children age 8 and up. The Second Company Productions: Second Company productions feature members of our Intern and Apprentice Company, and are designed to be enjoyed by children (and we think grown-ups too). Plan to make a day of it by packing a lunch to enjoy on the grounds. Be sure to stick around after the show so the kids can meet the cast on the patio. MHS Walk For Animals
Swanzey - Fetch your sneakers animal lovers and help raise money for the more than 2,000 homeless animals who find their way to our door each year! The Walk for Animals event will make a fun and entertaining day for people and canines. The one mile walk includes a parade through the grounds and walking trails of the Monadnock Humane Society. The day's events include sheep-herding demonstrations, children‚s activities, miniature horses, pet portraits, face painting, pony rides, and the Mutt Minster Dog Show. There will even be a special guest appearance by Swanzey's famous oxen - Buck & Ike!
